India’s education system is undergoing a major transformation. CBSE has officially directed affiliated schools to establish Composite Skill Labs to strengthen skill-based and vocational education from Classes VI onwards. As per CBSE recommendations, schools may establish one Composite Skill Lab of approximately 600 sq. ft. for Classes VI to XII or create two separate labs for different grade groups.
